INSPIRATIONAL BIOGRAPHY OF ALAN HUNTER MURRAY (1946-1987)
A poignant, intimate biography of a man who loved God dearly and encouraged many with his deep understanding of the Bible.
In Alan’s short life of forty years, he immigrated to New Zealand, aged 17, and worked faithfully as a multilith printer for Victoria University for 23 years. He relinquished this job and officially entered into full-time Bible teaching ministry.
Alan was a gifted Bible teacher with a great knowledge and understanding of the scriptures. He was a lecturer at Wellington Bible College and an elder and teacher at Petone Gospel Hall. This story will encourage you to know and live the word of God. His wife, Jocelyn, describes his life, his illness and promotion to glory with the rare ability to make you feel you were there with them both throughout this journey.
“Of all the men I have ever known, Alan is the one who most closely resembled the Lord Jesus Christ. He was truly a man of God.” –Paul Hunt, Wellington
